Fall 2025 kicks off with Opening Night with New York Philharmonic & More

Anthony Parnther kicks off the cultural season with the Gala Opening Night at the New York Philharmonic featuring three-time Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant on September 25th. Film Concerts – Performing Movie Music Live Soundtrack Scores Audio Stems CBS Sunday Morning 2025

Anthony Parnther led the Philharmonic’s “Jaws” screenings. His primary role, however, is conducting Hollywood film recording sessions for movies like “Oppenheimer,” “Avatar: The Way of Water,” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

When asked if his colleagues view these concerts as more about entertainment than artistry, Parnther responded, “All I know is that when I turn away from the score to speak to the audience, every seat is occupied.”
